Conversion vans: campervan
One example of a conversion van is the campervan. It is most ideal for large groups that will go camping because they have many amenities that allow for a very convenient travel or long trips. These amenities include a toilet, sink, fridge, microwave, stove, and sofa. How did they come around? In the United States campervans are most widely known as recreational vehicles. They basically have a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. It’s like bringing your own home with you when you’re out to travel long distances, never having to worry about where to sleep, eat, cook, or shower. This can also provide more savings to individuals because having a campervan in your trips means not ever needing to stay at a hotel.
Campervans are widely used around the country for vacations, camping and road tripping. Campervans may be furnished with a “pop-up” roof raised during camping. A fixed roof is also available as in the case of high-top vans that allow for passengers to stand without bending over. Their roofs may also be part of a custom coach built body.
The small kitchen in campervans has a refrigerator that can be powered by gas, battery, or mains electricity. It also has a two-burner stove. They can assist its passengers in saving on food expenses allowing them to cook on the road even when the next stop is still miles away. They generally have dual-voltage lighting which can work from a deep-cycle battery or leisure battery. Or, in easier conditions, they may also be functional through an AC power, supplied at a campsite connected with a hook-up cable. Bigger versions of campervans may also have a water heater, space heating and air conditioning, a portable toilet and a shower. This makes camping or long-distance traveling a lot more comfortable and convenient.
